tomorrow marks our first day of potty training. i'm doing that 3-day method that everyone talks about... we'll see how it goes. goldie is pretty good about telling me when she poops, and she always pretends to use the potty. the girl who wrote the 3-day potty training says you can start at 22 months... and that's where we are. so here we go. i'm so sick of changing her diaper, seriously. that girl puts up a fight like none other-- she hates it. i'd hate it too, if i were her, considering she poops like 5 times a day. that should make for an interesting 3 days, right? i've got some prizes lined up (including smarties, dum dums, bracelets, necklaces, and the ultimate prize of a pink truck), around 30 pairs of underwear, bum wipes, bed liner, popsicles... i think we're good to go. i used to feel really intimidated by all of this, but now i'm kind of more like, i can do this. we can do this. right lou? i got out the underwear today to wash, so i thought i'd let goldie look through it while i explained to her what it was and what we'd be doing. apparently she got confused because she used the words "hat" and "purse" a lot instead of "potty" and "big girl." ha. oh man, say a prayer. we might need it.

gooooood luck! :-)
I started with that 3 day potty training and slowly moved to just taking her like 20 minutes after she had something to drink because that's when she ALWAYS went. Over All it gave me the confidence I needed even thought I modified it to fit us. After about a month she was actually telling us she had to go potty but before then I just knew by the way she was moving around and stuff that she had to go. It is a bit stressful those couple first days but CONSISTENCY is the key!!! The book really is a huge help! Figuring out what to do on the potty was the hardest for Emma but once she went once she realized what she was supposed to do. GOOD LUCK!!!!
hilarious. good luck! can't wait to hear how it's going. i need to get cracking with violet since she talks about poop/pee/diaper change/potty nonstop... only problem is she is terrified of the toilet. should be fun!
three day potty training?! sounds intense! hope it's going well!
i think our baby marle wants to potty train...totally trying to gear up for all the extra laundry. smiles!!
we did that method too, it was our second attempt... I loved it so much because it was so positive! Luci responded very well to it and it worked, not in 3 days, but that is probably b/c we had to work around the method that we tried first. Good luck :) You guys are so cute jenna!
